Vicki Been

Vicki Been is the Judge Edward Weinfeld Professor of Law at NYU and an Affiliated Professor of Public Policy. She served for two years as Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development for NYC. She has done research on NYCs land use patterns, inclusionary zoning, historic preservation, and on a variety of affordable housing and land use policies. She is the co-author of Land Use Controls, a leading land use casebook. Vicki was a Root-Tilden Scholar at NYU School of Law. She clerked for Judge Edward Weinfeld and for Justice Harry Blackmun of the Supreme Court of the United States.
