Ryan is a Senior Policy Advisor for Third Way's Climate and Energy Program, where he currently advocates the importance of clean firm power, especially nuclear energy, as an essential part of the solution to decarbonize global emissions and address climate change. Within this work, he analyzes how federal clean energy policies can help domestic industries support key US economic, climate, and national security interests. Prior to joining Third Way, Ryan worked as a climate policy advocate for the Climate Action Campaign where he focused on efforts to support environmental justice polices, educate communities on the impacts of energy producers, and promote broad support for investments in renewable energy.
