In the coming year, we are excited to promote new approaches to housing, energy, innovation, and government effectiveness issues. We believe in the power of ideas, and we are building a community to build inclusive dialogue around those ideas and champion them.

  • Identify new potential donor leads through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain development tracking infrastructure for the organization.
  • Develop clear metrics for organizational performance, including leading indicators for eventually fundraising.
  • Manage both short-term gift execution and long-term donor stewardship.
  • Build a pipeline and donor base to raise an additional $6 million over the next 3 years.

Successful candidates will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in development and fundraising for mission-driven organizations.
  • Passion for and proven alignment with our organization’s mission and values.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to identify highest-value strategies given finite organizational capacity.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage a range of tasks and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with non-profit fundraising regulations and the difference between raising money for a 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC or joint fundraising committees.
  • Experience raising money from high net worth individuals is a significant plus.
  • Background in abundance policy or advocacy is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience (ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 per year, inclusive of salary and potential performance-based incentives).
