Washington, DC – Today, Inclusive Abundance, a nonpartisan nonprofit that has been organizing around abundance, is releasing a first-of-its-kind abundance landscape that illustrates the variety of abundance-oriented organizations pushing for a new way to solve some of the biggest challenges facing Americans today.
In addition to the organizational landscape, Inclusive Abundance is publishing a thoughtful primer summarizing the key ideas within the movement and a series of issue explainers distilling specific pieces of the abundance agenda. Topics include government effectiveness, housing, energy, and innovation.
“For the last 18 months, Inclusive Abundance has been mapping the abundance landscape which spans the political spectrum, and we have encouraged these organizations to work together to conduct new research, build coalitions for action, and change how we approach public policy in America,” said Inclusive Abundance CEO Derek Kaufman. “We know this won’t be easy. But by harnessing the momentum and ideological diversity of the emerging abundance movement and relentlessly pursuing change, we can overcome self-imposed scarcity.”
The abundance landscape and primer showcase the wide breadth of work already underway and highlight gaps that, if filled, would further advance the abundance agenda. Included in this landscape are advocacy groups, associations, and think tanks. Many of these groups were represented at our landmark Abundance 2024 conference.
